American Bourbon is an American Whiskey made primarily from corn. Having a toastiness, spice and vanilla sweetness to them which is largely down to the new charred oak used in the barrels. For Bourbon to be a distinctive product of the United States, it must be made in the US from at least 51% corn and stored in a new container of charred oak.
