Port Askaig Cask Strength

This cask-strength release from Port Askaig is an Islay single malt matured in first-fill ex-bourbon and refill casks. Aromas of hot coals, sherbet lemon and beach bonfires fill the nose, followed by notes of leather, peat smoke, salted caramel and seashells on the palate. 

This results in a classic Islay whisky with all the wonderful flavours you'd expect, including zesty lemon and bonfire smoke. This latest cask strength release from Islay has been bottled in 2023.
