Kakira 5 Year Old Dark Rum 20cl
From 'grass to glass', Kakira Dark Rum is made from molasses derived from sugar cane grown on the Kakira Estate, East Africa's largest sugar producer. Fermented and then copper-pot distilled, Kakira Dark Rum is aged on the Equator at Kakira in ex-Bourbon and Sherry cask soleras for a minimum of 5 years before it is finished with a touch of the very cane sugar it was made from and bottled on the premises with water from Lake Victoria, the source of the River Nile.
A rich and warming embrace of tropical notes including banana, coconut and almond with a complex yet smooth toffee-like finish.
