Delaforce White Port

The grapes for Delaforce White Port come from old vines planted on steep, rocky slopes overlooking the Douro River. The hot, dry climate results in grapes with concentrated flavours. After hand harvesting, the grapes are pressed and fermented without skin contact to retain freshness and prevent colour extraction. Fermentation is halted by fortification with grape spirit to leave optimal residual sugar.

Delaforce White Port shows a brilliant lemon-gold colour. The expressive nose offers inviting aromas of citrus, stone fruits and floral notes. On the palate, flavours of peach, gentle nectarine and zesty lemon mingle with honeyed complexity. The sweetness is perfectly balanced by vibrant acidity.
