Lochlea 5 Year Old Single Malt Finish

This limited-edition Single Malt Whisky is very special to the Lochlea team, as it is our first ever age statement release. 2 of the 5 casks used are from the very first filling in August 2018, making this the oldest Lochlea whisky they have ever bottled. They have only produced 2,000 bottles worldwide & 522 bottles for the UK market.

1st Fill Bourbon: Cask No 20.
1st Fill Oloroso Sherry: Cask No 249.
Double Matured Px Sherry: Cask No 295.
Double Matured Oloroso Sherry: Cask No 272.

The wonder whisky provides on the nose a baked pineapple, brown sugar, hazelnuts, sourdough bread. The palate gives an instant a zesty lemon taste followed by candied pear crumble & orange peel. Then this moves through to a finish of caramel with hints of black pepper, rose petals and notes of light leather.
